Within the next days we will provide you here the contributions of the conference speakers. Today, we will start with a report of the longterm NECE cooperation partner, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture (BMUKK), written by Jan Sisko.

The urban games as a method of education gives both the educators and the games participants great learning possibilities. Not only it changes reception of the city itself but also it teaches how to work in a group, how to think in a more open and creative way.
After the end of the conference all participants had the chance to explore Warsaw something of the tourist path. On a guided tour the we learned more about Warsaw's history during the 20th and 21th century.
This year's NECE-conference closing Key Note was held by Jean-Marc Ferry from the University of Nantes on the European Union as a cosmopolitan system. Finally, the organisers Petra Grüne (Federal Agency for Civic Education), Alicja Pacewicz (Center for Citizenship Education), and Tatjana Meijvogel-Volk (ProDemos) gave their farewell to the audience thanking everybody for her or his participation and contribution.
